Which fan - the mechanical or the electrical - were you getting fixed? Was that the reason you took the car in for service? Since there are two fans, it would be unusual for the failure of one to cause overheating. Most common issue would be the water pump, but there could be other causes as well.

I was driving after getting it "fixed" and it overheated or was getting close. Changed a fan so i dont know what could be wrong....

I'm guessing its the mechanical one since thats the one they claimed had a problem.
