-Chapter 1- Heading South Down the Eastern Seaboard
For us here in Atlantic Canada, we may not have the population numbers, but we make up for the impressive dubs that hail our streets. From vintage air-cooled goodness to bagged .:R32 swapped 4 motions, from Silly Rabbit to slammed mk2's, VR swaps and hella crazy mk3 toilets, caddy's, cabbies, S4's, e30's and mk2 coupes to name a few. A lot of the fellas couldn't make the trip, I wished I could have brought them all.

My trip didn't start off on the right foot. I ran into fuse/electrical problems with my air ride. Not something I looked forward to worrying about for the 18hr journey ahead of us.
I rectified the problem, but decided to leave my car at home and took my truck to meetup (and ride shotgun) with my buddy Kyle. He's a guy responsible for my dub addiction.
I grew up in cities all my life, but I woke up at a farm house
We started this adventure at the break of dawn...
Kyle Norman is one of the local Unitronic reps and his car was going to be in the booth. Sweet. Quick access to everything and no line ups or the long dirty walk to general parking. Front and center in the middle of it all. Unitronic wanted a few pictures for an ad showcasing the event. We did a quick and easy dirty shoot of his bagged TDI...
We met up with a few of the local veterans. Their cars were going into vendor booths as well. Not bad for a convoy of 4 dubs. All 4 in vendor booths lol.
The aforementioned .:R32 swapped 4motions...
Lee Purcell's .:R32 4motion GLI was going into the C2 Motorsports booth
Kevin Misner's boosted .:R32 4motion Jetta Wagon was going into the HPA booth
Pat Burke's 1977 Rabbit stage2 Callaway was going into the KW Suspension booth for the first day
The title Sh!tfinger kinda stuck after one runs into one of these machines...
Bowel movements are bound to happen for such a long cruise. It Happens. But when you gotta go, you gotta go. Typically one would pull over to the side of the road and use a sock. Counts for 2 potential mishaps. But when one travels with sandals...hopefully no one finds out. So that's how the youngest traveler amongst the 8 of us got the title Sh!tfinger. It was good for a few laughs the whole trip. Whether or not he actually used his finger..only he knows lol.
-Chapter 2- Morning in Mass
We had a stop-over in the great state of Massachusetts to cut down the traveling time...
We ran into some rain...
And in typical VW fashion, we ran into a little bit of this...
-Chapter 3- The Dirty Jerz
We found our way into Linden VW and HPA Motorsports. A great group of guys that know their stuff and product.

-Chapter 4- A Night in the Dirty Jerz
After our visit with Linden VW and HPA, we checked into our hotel for a 2 night stay. It was a very mild scene as far as partying and shenanigans was concerned. At least there was a Hooters next door lol..
It was a good thing it was quiet. Made for a good night's sleep before Waterfest in the morning. Even security was relaxed...
