MKVI Fogs as DRL with LED bulbs (not LED DRL headlights)

Hello,
I am looking to see if I can code out my bulb out warnings due to the use of LEDs in my fogs.
I have a 2011 Golf TDI (NAR) with halogen headlamps and standard fogs.
I have already make the changes to make the fogs my DRL, and then I replaced the bulbs with low power LEDs. The intent here is to be seen, but not draw a lot of current. The LEDs are HB4 from SuperBrightLEDs.

Thanks, I've seen that. That's for coding the R LED style tails, but if you look at the end of the video, the remainder of the lights will still give bulb out errors. Since mine is front fog as LED, I think they'll still give the error.

What I am doing in older 3C8 CECM is install resistor to lie controler.

The resistor would kind of defeat one of the benefits of the LEDs for me. I chose LEDs due to the long life (less bulb but outs) as well as low power draw (2W vs 55W). The resistors I've found that serve this purpose, pull power anytime the light is on (which for DRL is most of the daylight driving) and have large heat sinks. So instead of using that power to create light, they are creating heat, so drawing about the same.
If there was a way to code out all cold diagnostics, I'd probably run LEDs everywhere (except headlight and high beam), so long as it was safe and lit properly within the housing.

According to Dana, newer BCM modules do not have lamp diagnostic coding bits. Also LED fogs were not a factory option with this module, so it sounds like we're out of luck.
