    It's still the GT2871(APR) that's used in APR's Stage 3 kit.

    Was this originally a United Grey GTI with APR's K04 kit before it received Stage 3 treatment?

    If yes, then I have driven this car in its early days back when I interviewed with APR at their old location in AL for a job (mid-late 2006). Keith handed me the keys to this GTI so I could go explore the surrounding Auburn area that I would be relocating to from TX.

    I have never forgotten how impressed I was with the little UG GTI on an H&R cup kit and its K04 power/smoothness. It rode and drove flawlessly, with lots of snap when you stuck your foot in it. Can't imagine what this Stage 4 car is like.

    I hope this is the same car - proud day for me to see it still alive and in such rare form!

    Yes, on the built internals. I know it has upgraded everything, plus a high-flow head from APR's motorsport division. I hope you get mutually great news from USAA! Thanks for your interest!
