Ok I fired up my 2.0 with the new manifold and c2 software and 42lbs just make sure it works. my questions are what spark plugs are people running? Where to put the o2 sensor? I need to finish the downpipe and it does not have the stock cat anymore it will have a aftermarket one. What do do with the isv, and egr electrical plugs as I have now where to plug them in now.

    Thanks

not trying to be an ass, but nobody knows what engine code you are working on, nor what all else you have done to the motor.

Since you have an ISV, it sounds like you are working with an ABA.

When you get your cat it should have an O2 bung in it. If you are working on an OBDI, you should only have 1 O2 sensor, so you shouldnt need another bung in the downpipe.

EGR doesnt have to be plugged into anything if you deleted it. Just tuck that wire away somewhere so that it wont get caught or melted.

I have never removed the ISV in my cars because I mainly work with N/A ABA's and I have just re-routed the vacuum lines to accommodate a new position. With that, I dont think I can tell you what to do with the plug. You may throw a CEL.

    That's true sorry

obd1. aba,270 TT cam,arp fasteners, spacer, 42lbs injectors and software, .48 t3 going to start off around 10psi and see how it goes from there.

The new cat doesn't have a o2 bung in it is that the best place for it?

    BKR6E

or BKR7E for a step colder, or the iridium version, I prefer copper, for me pulling plugs every oil change is not a big deal and i can monitor how it's running.

Same plugs as any 1.8T or 2.0T

1 heat range colder than stock is usually good. NGK.

Ok all hooked up double checked all connectors and hoses for leaks. Starts and idles good but if I give any kind of throttle it falls on its face, misfires and won't rev. If I do it very slowly it will a bit but not much. I have a vr6 cat with a new o2 sensor, new plugs(BKR6E) and everything else I removed from a mint running car.

Just to recap the set up. 270TT cam, new 42lbs injectors, c2 obd1 42lbs software. T3 .48 and 9-1 cr. I am running without the isv do to the manifold being modded. What I haven't done is the 3" maf and the fuel pump is stock. I didn't think it would matter yet as I was only going to run 10lbs of boost to test out the set up and turn it up after some shake down miles. It has a a front mount and 2.5" piping.

    Any help would be great

C2 software? The 42# is coded for a 3" MAF housing; the smaller stock one will make it beyond pig rich.

If using NGK BKR7E plugs, a .026 gap seems to be best from my research for my setup

Thanks for the input everyone. Finally got it running somewhat right after the 3" maf then ran out of gas
