Does anybody have a Sand/Media Blaster at home or business? Im looking to blast Two sets of wheels and dont want to get ripped off by a shop. I rather have someone legit do them on the side and I can compensate their time.
If you're going to refer me to a shop, every shop I've called wants 40-70 per wheel to blast which equates to $160-$280 for an hour of blasting. :/ I know they are out to make money but charging me 2-3 hours of labor for a job that only take 1 is sickening.

Blasting 2 sets of wheels (in particular, those BBSs) is more than an hour of blasting. Ask me how I know...

I think its dependent on how you go about blasting. I had another set of RSs blasted within 45 mins at a previous shop I went to. I had them apart for him and he went to town. He charged me $350 to do it, but I had no time to wait and he was the first shop I called. I'd go back to him but his business no longer exists.
