Plenty of other early model owners have done the speaker grille swap without issue. Plus, power windows are more trouble than they're worth (just look at all the "my power window won't go down/up - help!" threads for proof).

No clue, but the '90s Cab owners can tell you.

I can tell you that the European Cabriolets received those speakers/grilles and did not have power windows as standard equipment (which is why swapping them into the earlier Cabs is no problem):

I Did get the valve cover off as well and the alternator just didnt get a pic. From the looks of the seals this motor was just rebuilt

Its been a while since ive updated the progress.

Well Since last week i have added some negative camber to the rear to have the rear tires clear.

    Also dropped the rear more.

Than yesterday my new tires showed up. My wheels were 15x8 with 195/45/15 so a mild stretch i have moved to a 165/45/15. Much larger stretch i only ordered two to see how it looked and ill be ordering two more.

So as it stands right now the front has the larger stretch and i also slammed the front down more.

Hoping to head out to a junkyard tomorrow. I am in search of a b pillar seal for the drivers side and im not looking to spend the 175 that some websites want!!

PIECES IM LOOKING FOR. LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE THESE AND ARE LOOKING TO SELL

ac center console vents, with out adjuster on it(I believe was only in the 81)

    B Pillar driver side seal

    ....Small Metal Bumpers.....

Door Speaker pods(the ones that fit the 5 inch speakers not the pods for the 4x6 speakers)

More to come when it comes to mind...

I think your doing a great job with the car and I love it!

that being said.. your rear camber looks absolutely retarted. I think you may have ruined that car a little

I think the rear camber looks neat, just a little too much...To each his own though I suppose.

Looks good! That rear tire thing is a little much IMO. I wish I could get those bigger speakers, but I don't want to F-up the stock look.
