Windshield Sunscreen that Fits

Ya, need some help on this. Tried a cheapy, it didn't fit worth a flip. Bought an expensive one that was "custom made" for our cars... no. Anyone have suggestions on a brand that fits well/easy to use? Thanks.

What brands did you purchase? I've been looking to get the Weathertech one that has two sides (one for winter and one for summeR). It's about $70 compared to a $30 cheap-o that did not get good reviews. The WT one even has little suction cups on it to keep it in place.

I couldn't do one with suction cups, those little rings that it would leave would drive me nuts.

I already can't stand the one left by my GPS so I try to never use it. iPhone is my go to, GPS last resort.

I had a custom one for my Fusion from Covercraft that fit like a glove. I have been thinking about ordering one for the GLI but haven't gotten around to it. My dealer also sells/carries another brand of fitted ones; one that rolls up and is light(er) weight, and a two-sided one that folds. Can't remember the brand, but both are available through autoanything.com

I think it was the introtech $59 on autoanything. Havent seen that one on amazon before, may have to try it. Ya, it was 106 yesterday in Arlington, TX so I need one that fits better lol

I have purchased a Covercraft UVS100 for every vehicle I've owned over the past 20 or so years. Every one has fit perfectly and lasted quite a long time. The one for my 16 year old Tacoma is a little ratty (16 years of constant outside use) but still works fine.

Yup, I bought the one fitted from VW (Cover King). It has the VW logo on it.

You need to contact your local dealership to place the order. They are fitted for each model and it has a VW logo on it.

I have a heat shield brand cover. It makes a world of difference. I'm in Arlington as well. Sometimes i forget to put it on and pay for it when i get back in the car. Lol

I purchased an Intro-Tech Ultimate Reflector from Autoanything.com. My dealer carries the roll-up version but I had a Cover Craft UVS100 folding shade on my last car and wanted something similar to that.






there's a slight gap near the base of the windshield on both sides, and the open area around the mirror is pretty big but overall I'm happy. Comparing it to the UVS100, I think I like the Covercraft better. It was more rigid, and had a reflective surface that wasn't foil. The Ultimate Reflector definitely doesn't feel cheap by any means. It'll take some time to get used to getting it in place.
