Thread: Any comments on TYC aftermarket headlights (good or bad)?

After doing some reseach, I am just about to purchase a pair of TYC aftermarket headlinghts for my 2002 Jetta Wagon. Before pulling the trigger, I am just wondering if anyone out there has purchased this brand and has any good or bad comments to share.

I have a headlight on order... but it's for other purposes.

OEM Hella is best for quality and costs the most.

Depo don't cost as well, and it shows in the quality of the adjusters and optics.

TYC falls in the same category as Depo.

IMO, replacing headlights for a MK4 Jetta.... I'd spend the money on the Depo ecodes. Not too expensive...and missing a tiny part of the reflector that doesn't make a huge difference
