I'm a bit confused about how this device works:

- Which cable(s) are required to hook this up to the car? Are those cable(s) included?
- How does this hook up to a computer? USB? Wireless? Is it a computer in its own right?
- The ad says "receive flash updates via e-mail" -- does this device allow me to create backups of the tunes (or of the current software on my car now) on a separate physical device?
- If I want to buy C2 software, does this device alleviate the need to send in my ECU for loading? If yes, does this device work in the same way with other software vendors (if they can provide software in a compatible format), or is it proprietary/limited to C2 software only?

The C2NER comes with all the cables needed. A USB for your PC and an OBD for your car. You can still send in your ECU to be flashed but us but yes, the C2NER allows you to flash your own car from your driveway!!! We email you your flash, you download it too your C2NER, then plug it up to your car!!! It does only work with our software.
