Ok so, I'm cleaning up the last little bits on the bay, and one of the last things to go is this god awful airbox intake hose. So anyone out there...I'm wondering if I can delete the pcv heating element by just cutting the sensor out and twisting the wires or would I need a resistor. If so what ohms?![]()

it does exist!!
What happens if you unplug it? If it doesn't throw a code, then
Chances are you won't be needing that in FL.

I simply had the wires twisted together. No code, no problems.

Expenses in F1 have gone down since the 1960s because teams don't need an extra pit crew to help the driver carry around his balls when he is not in the car.

I have no idea if it will throw a code or not, but when I think about it, I've ever seen a fault code related to that heater.
One way to be sure: unplug it and go for a ride. You'll find out if it throws a code or not
I doubt you'll need a PCV heater in Florida.
