Where on the dizzy is the actual sensor? I see something right by the harness connector and another thing directly across from it. Which is it?

The Hall Sender is inside the dizzy 180 degrees opposite from the point where the wiring harness plugs in on the side. On CIS-E Jetronic 16Vs the slotted wheel rotates to "signal" the KS control unit that the engine is running.

This signal is only important if you are concerned that your fuel pump relay is getting a ground while the starter is turned over. Absence of a Hall Sender signal means no continuous ground to the fuel pump relay (i.e. you can crank 'till the battery goes dead, yet no start).

Check the Bentley Manual to see where the CIS-E Jetronic fuel pump relay ground originates from if you are curious...

I only need it for cam position pulse. Need to know where to place the single pulse to activate sequential injection in megasquirt.

Thanks! That is what I needed.

I'm only triggering off the distributor, no crank sensor. I have mine set to "trigger return", 80 degree trigger offset, and falling edge.

This is with the distributor adjusted somewhere in the middle which gives good rotor phasing.

Hope that helps. One day I want to add a crank trigger and go sequential too. I was thinking of using the distributor for the cam position signal too.
