Thread: Moving to Portland, OR: Continental DWS, Michelin Primacy MXM4 or Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS

    I'm in need of new tires for my 2010 Golf TDI and the new rubber coincides with a move to Portland, Oregon.

    I've narrowed down my tire choices to:

    Continental DWS;
    Michelin Primacy MXM4, or;
    Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS

    Any opinions/reviews/etc about any of these tires for a wet climate?

    I see you have had no responses yet. Here's my $.02. Ive been researching the same things and have decided to get the DWS. I live north of Seattle and will be purchasing later this month.

    DWS all the way. I probably will not run another all around tire until these are discontinued. They are pretty awesome

    How did the DWSs work for you in the passes with snow and on the icy streets of Seattle metro area last winter? What size did you use?

    Thanks,
    Nick
