I have a 89 vw fox wagon the only thing wrong with it is the gas tank is off, it's siting in the back of the car. The car was running when parked. I'm looking to get $1000around for it. why was the gas tank off in the first place if nothings wrong with it...

My nephew & his friend removed the tank to drain it because it was sitting for a while, no one was using the car, so they never bothered to put it back on, i wasn't told until after i bought it.

Hi Ralph.

The car i located in phoenix arizona. It's in great shape runs smooth, the interior is about 7 to 8 out of 10. Like i posted only problem is the gas tank is siting in the back of the car. But it's all there, clean title no accidents, 166xxx miles, Shifts smooth.
