Just curious if anyone else has ever tried this. I know that everyone is going to ask why but its way cheaper for me to do the machining than building another engine.

Is there any reason that I cannot put an ABA crank in the g60?

the block height of a g60 is 220mm, rather than the taller aba block, but without the 144mm rods, a g60 only has a 136mm rod, so if i take an ABA crank being 6.4mm longer and shorten my pistons 6.4mm, i don't see an issue? Any arguments to this? I plan on it being a high compression motor.

PG crank is 86.4 and aba 92.8, it can be done, you might need different rods and pistons to make this work and extra cost for machine work. It's cheaper just get full aba bottom end. It already has 10.2:1 cr pistons. You may want forge pistons if running high compression on force induction, only issue going have is engine management. Digi-1 is good, but not great for high compression boosted engines. Go standalone, you ge fine. The real goal is, how much are willing to spend.

6mm is an awful lot to cut off the pistons. Also ABAs use 159mm connecting rods not 144mm.
