I want to build an under seat box to fit in my 2000 MK4 jetta and i want to put my 12" sub in it

Yes I have the dimensions: Not going to happen.

Front seats have no room under them to put anything, nevermind a subwoofer, nevermind a 12" subwoofer. You MAYBE have about a 6" by 2" opening to put something.


The rear seats have the floor against it so there's no room there and moreover, the gas tank is right below it.

so. what can i do? i hate havin to strap a box into my trunk with bungie cords. what are my other options?

Depends

There's expensive options like the JL Stealthbox that fits where the spare tire is completely hidden.
MTX thunderform is another option that attaches to a side of the trunk.

Or you can make a custom box that can be secured either to a side of the trunk or the back, or in the floor.
