I'll be buying. PS3 year (usually I alternate). I read that if you preorder from GameStop you get like 10 gold Ultimate Team packs. I got hooked on UT mode late in FIFA11. Will be going to GS in next 2 days to preorder to take advantage of the UT packs, if what I said is true.

I get FIFA every year. Love the game. PES is good but I prefer FIFA.

Def getting it for Xbox 360, the new voice controls they are integrating are gonna make the game more interesting and allow more fluid games without having to waste time in menus for Subs / formations / tactics

I also played the PES 2013 demo and at first I felt like they finally got the right mix of the older games precision and amazing presentation, but that wore off real quick

I think I'll probably pick up both games, although I'm not a big fan of PES. The demo was decent but it had a lot of flaws and I'm sure Fifa will pick up on that and come out with the better game. And to be honest, the voice control thing looks interesting and it's mind blowing how far technology has come, but I'll be sticking with the controller. Loved traditional gaming since the days of Sega and I don't think that's something that should be taken away.

I usually buy one sports game per year since, for me at least, they seem to hold up well enough and have enough replay value to last for more than one year. My last purchases have been NBA2K11, Madden '12, and MLB12: The Show. This would be me turn for FIFA but the girlfriend and I have to renew the lease to our apartment and the rent went up a bit so I'll probably be holding off on new video game purchases for awhile.

I'm hoping that my brother ends up picking this up!

It's been some time but is anyone playing this?

I have this massive addiction for FIFA Ultimate Team. Love hate relationship, more love than anything. I barely did much in the rest of the game as I usually boot it up in PS3 to check my auctions and maybe play 1-3 UT games.

Last night I finally went online with UT tournament mode and lost 4-2, although I played against a better team and missed on 3-4 easy goal scoring opportunities (I'm not the best) I could not help but notice how laggy the game is. I alternate between X360 and PS3 each year, but got the last 2 years on X360 and never noticed lag this bad. Is the EA servers really this crappy or is it an issue with PSN?
