Unadulterated tornado red 16v, non-sunroof. Black leather interior. Just over 100,000 original miles. I am only the second owner, and have owned the car since February 1993 when it had approx 48k miles. Only serviced with original/OEM parts. Odometer died about a year ago, but you can verify mileage history in the provided Carfax report (see images on ebay). Snowflake rims with Bridgestone snow tires are pictured, however the car ALSO includes a full set of straight, original VW tear drop rims in good shape with all-season Hankook tires.
Mechanical: Starts/Runs great. Power steering belt needs to be adjusted/replaced (squeaks when turning hard at a stop). New OEM muffler installed in 2010. Front and rear discs and pads replaced in 2010. Exhaust manifold replaced in 2010. Shift Linkage redone 2010. New timing belt, water pump, and motor mounts installed in 2005 (around 80k miles). Clutch replaced at 50k miles (in 1993).
Exterior: Definitely needs new paint...car is now matte finish! Body is in good shape, with NO DENTS/DINGS. Rear bumper cover is gone. I have a new (unpainted) one that can go with the car. Very little rust - only a few very superficial spots (see images).
Interior: Interior in good shape considering 25 yrs of age. No holes or tears in leather, though the stitching is going in some places. All doorcards/trim intact. Dash has a few cracks in it, as usual. I may have a perfect, uncracked dashboard that can go with the car. Headliner is starting to turn yellow.
