MKV Needs Help!

It is a 2008 MKV GTI 30k miles five speed stock car.

The battery died and after installing a new battery problems began.

All fuses under the hood and left side of the dash are ok. No radio power nothing, steering angle and ECS is illuminated.

- Check fuse, the one on the back of the Radio, if okay disconnect power to for 2 minutes.

- Check for fault codes, Auto-scan and post if needed.

I would seriously inspect the Ignition switch for melt down and double check all grounds in retrospect to the 0x16.

Man second one tonight for switch contacts.

High resisitance in the S-contact of the ignition switch sets those faults. There is an updated switch part number 1K0 905 865 A.
