Designed by a joint engineering staff from Germany and the USA, the S1 coilover is built for the enthusiast
that is looking for an ideal balance of ride quality and performance.

In the front the S1 coilover for the MK2, MK3 VW/Audi Group platform features 400 lb/inch
spring rate matched to a twin tube low pressure gas damper mounted in a
heavy gold zinc plated threaded coilover housing that provides not only
great handling, but also exceptional corrosion resistance.

The rear features a 285 lb/inch coil spring & helper spring matched with a
specially tuned sport damper mounted inside the rear version of the
high quality heavy gold zinc plated threaded coilover housing.

Didn't know they made kits for mk3. I personally have installed two mk5 kits, one jetta and one golf, and they ride amazingly smooth. Wayyyyy worth the money

how do these ride compared to rokkor/racelands to ngp coilovers and st coilovers.?

not knocking on the product but I am searching this month for coils on my vr jetta.

Compared to Rokkor/raceland, these are going to be a higher quality and better riding coilover.
I have not been able to compare them side by side with the NGP coils so I can't give any information there.
Compared to ST, the build quality is very similar, I have not driven ST equipped cars side by side with the Solo-werks so I can't give any real feedback there.

We can hook you up with both ST and NGP coils if you decide to go with one of those
Also, keep in mind, shipping is included in the $499 price (within the continental USA)

Seems lower in the rear. How do they ride? I was thinking about getting them but don't know if they are just another cheap coilover company that will disappear before warranty runs out. Has anyone used them through a winter season yet and how well does the zinc plated coating hold up and resist corrosion? I put plenty of anti-seize on my Vmaxx threads during install but they still seized up after winter. Stratmosphere went out of business too and I had a shop telling me 3 out of 4 were leaking after a year, but I didn't notice anything nor did they ride different.

These are a very solid coilover for the money. They of course are not going to compare to a Koni/H&R/Bilstein. But, if your looking to lower your car with a decent ride quality for a reasonable price, these are a great option. They are far better than Vmaxx. They are going to be more comparable to FK AK Streetlines, however the streetlines only have a 1 year warranty, and are bare metal. Where these offer a 3 year warranty, and have the zinc plating, which holds up quite well to winter conditions. i would still recommend keeping o coating of some sort of protectant on the threads and to wash them off semi-regularly, but I would recommend the same of any brand coilover in those kind of conditions.

These are going to be a little firmer than stock, but they are designed for a comfortable DD ride. I can't say at those FTG heights though as I have not made those measurements on any of the cars I've driven.
