Hi, so i recently purchased a msd 6al2 box the msd blaster 2 coil pack, and a msd distributor that i though was for my aba 2.0 but when it arrived i found out that it is for a air cooled. So now im stuck wondering how im going to be able to make a standalone for my 2.0. i will be running itbs, and i want to completely get rid of my ecu and all the wiring that goes alone with it, im comming for v8 chevys. please help. Is there a known distributor out there that will work with my sytem or will i beable to mod a 1.8 distributor.?

some one told me that i wont need to swap the distributor, im putting a fuel cell and a external pump in the car, so i dont need the ecu to trigger that, and the car has a button start , so what would be stoping my from ditching it all together??
I just relised that they were fuel injected itbs, well they wont be going on till winter when i build up the motor, it looks like im going to need alot of supporting mods for them to run properly, do you know anyone who dose make a decent standalone?
i personally run Lugtronic with my ITBs. They offer plug and play setups, custom harnesses, and DIY wiring. Also includes support and a base map based on your specs and can exchange data logs to make adjustments to maps. This is the 4th or 5th ITB setup we have done with Lugtronic.
