I'm having a slight issue getting everything working just as id like it.
I'm using my phone with bluetooth audio A2DP. That works fine and my phone accepts commands from the headunit (touch) or from the MFSW's button.
I'm also using my phone as a GPS using the Waze application.
Music plays fine when im using Waze in foreground, the waze nav. indication mix with the music, which is fine for me.
However, if my audio application is in background (Winamp for Android), it doesn't accept commands from the headunit or the MFSW. To get it to accept commands, i have to put Winamp in foreground, send the command, and then switch back to waze. This is not really possible, when im driving, as it requires way too much attention to be put away from the road.
Setup is : RCD-510 and Samsung Galaxy S3 on Android 4.0.3 (ICS), using Winamp for Android.
Any suggestion? Any apps that would "capture" A2DP commands and redirect em to Winamp?
Ok nevermind, went out and tried other music players (Poweramp in particular) which works perfectly as expected, commands gets recognised even if the app is in background and it doesnt have all the little quirks Winamp had (which i tought were A2DP related, not Winamp related).
So yeah, if anyone stumbles unpon this post because they have issues with their A2DP, get rid of winamp!
