Military New Car Purchase Questions

Hey guys ill be leaving for the army soon and plan on buying an e46 m3 when I get back from training. Mostly concerned with dealers or loan agencies taking advantage of me.
1. Should I buy from a dealer or take out a car loan and buy one from a private seller?
2. What sort of scams should I look out for?
Anything you know or can tell me will be much appreciated.

if you're not going to be driving the vehicle everyday, don't get a car

its gonna depreciate daily, and you only use it minimally

Don't fall for the E-1 to E-3 Specials around the base.

And if I was to do it again, I would keep my car and not have a loan and then wait till my first deployment and save up during my deployment and then buy a nicer car after I get back.
