98 passat with blown engine $1200 o.b.o

**dropped to 1000 ** i have a good project car up for sale just needs either a long block or a rebuild on the current engine. heres some recent history: i had to replace the head 2 months ago due to the old one have severe pitting around the coolant jackets. so as i was driving home today she died...needless to say i get home and cylinder 4 plug was stuck and took alot of gentle force to get it out. the piston is in pieces and im screwed. so therefore i have to let her go to a good home. i love this car but im in a bad financial position to bedoing serious mechanical work again. i need a really reliable vehicle. so heres what ive done and roughly how old the parts are.\
front suspension just turned 2 years old- moog upper, trw lowers, moog outers.
just did akebono euro front pads and rotors a week ago. rears still have alot of life.
two new toyo tires about 2 months ago, rear dunlops about 2 years ago..
test pipe 4 months ago, 2.5 catback 1.5 years ago.
its got an apr stage 1 tune.
new timing belt idlers and tensioner, timing chain and tensioner also new.
ecs ra4 clutch kit 2 years ago with steel flywheel.
turbo could use a rebuild but still pretty decent for age.
interior needs some cleaning.
exterior is pretty good for age, hood has clearcoat peeling, small dings here and there.
anything else just ask.its been a great car for me i wish i had the time and ability to redo the motor.
