I have always named my cars over the years. They generally just come to me after being with the vehicle and knowing their ways.

Feel free to add a pic and a story, if there is one.

86 Merucry Cougar - "The Big Cat" Obvious. This car was hella long, and growled when I hit the gas!

97 Accord Coupe SE - It was red, so I called it "Cherry". My buddies teased me and called it "Lipstick"

2001 CRV - "Silver Surfer" - Because it handled so well...particularly in the snow (and it was silver )

      95 Acura Legend "Lady Legend"

2009 Tiguan - still working on a name but I have been playing with "The Town Jeweler".

The name comes from a line from one of my favorite rappers who says "Reckless naked girls get necklaces of pearls...compliments of the town jeweler" The Tig is White Gold, but looks like pearl to me at times.

The name still doesn't quite fit yet though.

Trans Am is called The Bird

Maxima was called Maxipad. When I got rear ended by a dually my friends commented on how absorbent it was.

Jetta never really had a nickname, friends called it the unreliable POS

My Rabbit is called Magnus Von Furrybottom, III, though sometimes in dark places I refer to it as a Golf...

(Truth be told, my mom used to refer to the family Type 1 Bug as Brunhilda Von Volksvagen, or Brunhilda for short. Seriously.)

The 88 Integra was the "blue car". The 91 Integra was at first, the "white car", but quickly became the White Shadow, mostly because of the crappy single-stage Honda white which was usually grey. The old MkIII was der Golf, the MkIV was die Neue. The B5 still is FAC63 (temptation). Rabbit is Jinjur, because Jinjur was a bitch. New MkIII is decogirl. The not a big Ford truck has a nick, but it's not polite, so I won't air it here.

The Renault was "that (insert string of expletives here) French car"

The old family truckster when I grew up was a 1970ish Ford LTD Wagon. Becasue of how huge it was and how it drove, it rightfully earned the nickname "The Waff".

The Dodge is pistachio, due to color.

The Volvo is the TurboBrick, nothing special.

The Ford is either Viktor, which is funny because OPs username. Or The Wanderer, because of th piss poor steering.

While I have always been a car guy, I have never been one to give my vehicles a name. That being said, I decided to name my 1983 VW Rabbit Pickup, Lindsey Lohan as she continues to break down and steal from me!

      lets see.

98 jetta (blackout) first car stupid name.
95 golf (denty) great car but was dented on every panal.
89 volvo240 (denty II) also very denty, it was just a get me thu car after my rollover in denty I .
82 rabbit (oscar the grouch) its a silver rabbit, I'm painting it green, its a piece of trash, and it makes me grouchy that its taking years to complete.
80 rabbit (the cheese) it was bright yellow, and I bought it from a guy named cheeseman,
02 beetle (stink bug) TDI beetle, with mods that make it stink.
29 pontiac (old car) its old. some times called the hot rod. tho its not one yet.
92 miata (the rx7) I sold a rx7 to get it, and it severs the same purpus in the line up, I end up calling it the rx7 all the time.

the latest has no name yet, but it will have to be something good.... been calling it stupid jetta, its not finished yet but its a epic bad idea. I am makeing a dedicated winter car, its a mk4 jetta, I lifted it 3.5 inchs, put 215 70 r15 tires on it, painting it Harlequin and building a brush guard and tube side and rear guards. I will post pics when done. thinking (stupid clown car) will do.
