whats up all...after searching i havent found exactly what im looking for...basically i need to no if mk5 airlift rears will fit my mk4 jetta. If i buy the D cups and remove the mk5 bracket off the top of the bag am i all set?

the reason i ask is because i have an opportunity to grab a set of airlift slam series rears from a mk5 for a good price..if with the appropriate fittings and d cups will they be good? because they essentially look the same as normal airlits for a mk4...

thanks for any info you guys might have
    My thread thing.

I can't answer your complete question but I know you will have to drill new holes in the d-cups to bolt them to the air lift bags for sure. And just going by memory, I would think d-cups would fit in the rear of the mk4. I have never bagged a mk4 with d-cups though.

The top of the d-cup will need new holes, haven't installed that combo before, and you don't need to use the bottom. But, I do believe the tapered sleeve bag is the same part number between the MK4 and MK5, the difference being in the top bracket. And I think you can actually order new brackets from airlift.
