Thread: HELP 01M - no codes, but very delayed shift from N to D

  1. 08-02-2012 11:35 AM #1
Hello, i am from Berlin Germany and hope that somebody can help me.
I got an 98' 1.6 with 01M AT and it has the following issue :
If i switch from N to D it delayes estimated 4 seconds until the gear lockes.

There is no code set told a friend, he has read out and had a look on the switch flags for the solenoid valves.
If i switch from N to D the Valve N92 switches to 1 an is set for some seconds !? then if the gear is locked the flag switches back to 0.

Does anybody has a tip what the error/fault could be ?
    Thanks
    Michael

    Check the fluid level first.

If the fluid is full you proably have pressure loss that will require rebuild or replacment.
Auto trans fluid change or flush will not make a trans fail. Stop spreading the wives tale/urban myth.
