So i bought a 1990 b3 wagon knowing it has a few issues but what car doesnt, the taillights light up but when i hit the break they dont get brighter and i cant think or figure out what it could be
Small, black, plastic, with a piston protruding towards the brake pedal arm. Size of a thumb.
See if the piston is not pushed all the way in, if it is it will not reach the pedal arm;
try pulling it out gently, shouldn't take too much force, it will click while coming out.
now the car has a nasty tick and it sounds like a lifter or 2 right in the middle, me and a buddy pulled the vavle cover off to see if it was the chain it still seems tight, another buddy said try a oil change cuz the oil in it seems alittle thin :banghead:
tried the oil change and nothin happend so i orderd lw lifters and soon 268 cams:laugh: i cant wait its gunna be so nice to be able to drive it and know that i dont have to worry about ticks and rattles, next will be coolant temp sensors and once i get the funs a efi setup
