Thread: painted aristo's on TR, what color???

  1. 08-02-2012 08:51 PM #1
As the title states. Im looking to paint or powder coat my aristo's. I primarily am either looking at a white or gold. Does any one have any photo's? So far ive only seen white and while it does look good. Gold still peaks my interest. Currently mine are plastidipped black. I know its cheap and stupid but i wanted to see the look of black first. To be honest I think it blends to much and is overplayed at this point. Sooo can I see what others have come up with on a TR R? Hopefully find a gold set on one! THANKS!!!!

TR CLEAR COAT PEEL AS WELL. SLOWLY BUT SURELY -_-

Well you see, I already have seen white a ton through google and this forum. However I havnt seen any gold aristo's on a TR. That's why I was asking. Maybe I was specific enough.

Gold! Anytime this comes up I always say if it's not BBS Gold don't use it.

And definitely get powder coat, with a powder clear over it. Getting the wheels painted is a waste of money.

Not always...paint opens up a lot more doors as far as color. Anyways I'm looking into getting my wheels copper plated (stock aristos for daily driving) and the lips on my other wheels as well. Going to do my badges to match as I now have the mk5 golf handle/badge out back.

I realize that the original question asked about what color Aristos would go with the T Red. However, the best looking wheels I've seen on a T Red were the BBS LMs with gold centers on Shaka's old car. See pic below:
