Need help with offset, always confusing to me!

I'm going to buy these wheels with no tires but idk if they will fit my car the offset thing throws me off,

Size: Front 18x8.5 Rear 18x9.5
And the offset is +33mm

Just want to know if they sit right on my stock mk6 gti.

Those offsets are very aggressive for a mk6. You would need to be very low, stretch some skinny tires and really roll front and rear. You would want an offset closer to et45. Those wheels sound more like an Audi fitment.
