Thread: IC options for a 2.0L

  1. 08-03-2012 11:41 AM #1
Hey everyone, I've been trying to figure out what my option are for intercoolers are for my 2.0L. I'm getting ready to install my turbo kit and have not been able to find anything that looks like it would fit without surgery on the front bumper.

Anyone ever seen a Saab same side I/O intercooler mounted up? How about any water/air intercoolers?

I did search but did not find anything that looked difinitive to me.

You can fit one under your bumper, but it will require trimming of the valance, as well as your bumper support beam behind the bumper cover. You could also do a water to air intercooler if you want to keep the sleeper look. You could also do a side mount like Tyrol which will likely be good enough for the power levels your 2.0 will see.
