Don't think scirocco handles fit in a rabbit. But to answer your question they are metal and they click into the handle.

You are killing me Oscar, take a pic of the lock on the inside of the handle. Does the lock push down towards the bottom of the car or in towards the body of the car.

Are they early or late model handles?

Dooo youuu have the ashtray lid, sun visor clips, dome light, and dual gauge insert for the center console? Also, would the center vents fit in an 81'? If so how much shipped to washington? Will pay shipping.

shell will be scrapped. I am willing to cut/remove parts. Also considering shipping items at the moment. I am currently looking at shipping a couple items by Greyhound on ly in US. So if theres a route near you there may be a chance i will do it. But seeing youre from australia I have no idea how to ship a windshield frame internationally.......

oh and what is a scuttle?

all i can tell you is that it is the sunroof is operational and does seal properly. Didnt rain water on it when it was powered. So I cant necessarily make any guarantees on anything else.

OTOH, Mooseknuckle has many hidden powers......

    Oscar,

I have a shipper located at Wilmington Ca, so wouldnt have to go too far from you.

Scuttle is the metal between the bottom of the windshield and hood.

LMK when your ready to cut stuff and we can go from there.

    cheers,
    Grant

Wow. Wilmington! That's too easy. Ok great! I can definitely make it happen as long as I don't mess up on cutting this thing out properly. I will get back at you when I am ready to cut it out. It should be in late October or November depending on when our second baby is born.
Any particular recommendation on which tool would be good for cutting it out?
