I am glad VW Europe finally came out with this one. I've just received it and installed it. I installed the two clips on the back window, but I may take them out since they overlap the diversity antenna.
This is much better than the previous roller blind which I already have and will now remove.

Nope, not OEM but it does look to be german made and high quality and they also ship to the US.

If anybody has the OEM part number for the set for a 3 door please post.

My guess is that he means Mfg Part# 1K3064365 set found on the ecstuning site:

    http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-...ade/ES1832128/

For manufacturer it says "European VW/Audi" but is that really OEM?

i think yes. but the price is little high, VW Germany sells them for 146 Euro for the public.

my 4 door part number is 1K"4"064365 and the one from ECS 1K"3"064365 so i think its the OEM for 3 doors

btw there is a part number for the rear alone if someone is not interested in buying the whole set.

Yes, this is a VW OEM accessory part from Europe and should have been available here. My experience so far: I consider this the most distinctive appearance OEM part besides wheels. It changes the styling as it reduces the amount of light and darkens the interior, makes the windshield and front windows darker in turn, and makes the car look meaner. I leave them on during the night also, so it took getting used to. I've also added the OEM driver's blind side mirror, which proves itself every time I drive. The part number for the complete kit of both rear side and back windows is 1K3 064 365. It is a DIY and I purchased it from ECS. How do I post the pix here?
