Not really.

Handsome, yes. Conservative in a world of wonky spaceship cartoon car design.

I'm totally being serious here...I think it's the best looking current Chevy product.

in my opinion, yes. I remember yawning my ass off when press pics first came out, but my attitude quickly changed when they started appearing on the roads. Even after being on sale a while, I continue to do a double-take almost every time I see one. They are deceptively good-looking cars, I dunno how GM did it.

I cross shopped the Cruze RS and my MKVI Jetta. I had the Cruze for a weekend and very much liked how it looked. The lip kit and 17's that come on that model definitely do it for me.

That looks very good indeed, I wasn't even thinking of that model with the big wheels.

Yes, very good looking exterior. I'm not a fan of the interior though.![]()

neutral for sure...a small step above beige mobile but that's all imo

I think it's pretty attractive for what it is. Just proves there's no reason for an economy car to look like, well, an economy car.
They have the Internet on computers now?

I think it is a good looking car, but I also like the Buick Verano so I may be crazy.

Not too fond of the fake rear window trim, needs a BMW style kink.

It did look a lot like GM's Holden Torana 2006 concept when it came out
Not sure if there is a link there. What I here GM Daewoo design studio was responsible for it so I don't think there was a Holden connection

The front end is weird, and the taillights look pretty cheap. Otherwise, it's okay.

North American vehicle desliker here.
I actually really like the Cruze. The base models (as nearly all other vehicles) is meh, but someone down our road has a Cruse RS...it's remarkably nice! Kinda wished it had a 2.0T AWD variant, and hoping their hatchback version makes it here soon.
So, yes, Cruze = handsome stud.

Fixed.
Some people say the Cruze is an old design that doesn't look good anymore, but I disagree. With all these new cars and their bubbly rounded bulbous exteriors.. it's nice to see something that has edges and flat sections along with curves to give it real style. I think the Cruze is one of the freshest designs out there.
The interior does need some help, but it's not bad considering it's starting out life as a $16k car in base trim.
Even the Eco looks great. At first the chrome-appearing aluminum rims were a turn off, but I sort of like them now. Hoping to scoop up a Cruze Eco-D (diesel) in early 2013 unless I go a different direction.

An LTZ w/ RS package looks good to me

Up until you get beyond the rear doors. Someone also pointed out the wonkiness of the grille which didn't bother me before but now I can't unsee what they're talking about.
As far as compact sedans go, the Mazda3, Focus, Impreza (!) and Jetta (?!) all trump it in looks.
Thoughts expressed are those of the poster and not those of some long dead guy who I choose to speak for me.

IMO it looks great, but it currently badly needs a SS reboot...

Dont like it (looks)
Respect it though (platform & powertrain)

I think it looks good for what it is...but I have an irrational hatred for the Chevy badge. Not the cars it signifies -- the actual badge design. It has some mystical ability to suck all the class out of an otherwise nicely styled vehicle.

I've always thought it had a good stance on the road (the old meaning of stance, not the new idiotic meaning). An SS version with some really nice, tasteful wheels would look great.
Similar to the Dusk concept Chevy was showing:

I'm the biggest american vehicle hater there is and I like it...but I was just staring at one yesterday and the longer I stared the more mundane it looked.

All I picture when I think of these cars is the vanilla "Eco" model thats everywhere. I have never seen a trim above the "Eco" so this LTZ/ RS version is news to me. I agree needs the Colbalt SS treatment and then game on. I still think it's miles better though than the current Civic.

I like it👍🇺🇸
It's ok if you disagree with me, I can't force you to be right.

taillights are easily fixed with the wonderfully Mercedes styled aftermarket LED taillights.
