I don't think I've even seen 20 of them. Ghostbusters and Escape From New York are definitely the best that I've seen.

I have seen a total of 27 of them. I have seen bits and pieces of a few more, however I am counting from beginning to end. Of course I am, as many of you will be, familiar with many more, but that being just through exposure and not actually viewing them.
Let me put this in context, which I find to make things a little bit more interesting, my age and viewing history. I am 43, with a long history of TV shows, movies of all kinds, etc. If I find it interesting, or sometimes not, I will watch it. I initially thought I would have seen a few more of the mentioned movies. And, some I thought would appear did not. So, my total is 27. I know some of you will far exceed that.
Oh yeah, list your your favorites(s). Mine are Escape From New York and Ghostbusters.

42/100 for me, boosted by the fact I've seen a lot of Woody Allen films.
A hundred dollars on your hair, fifty on your nails, fifty on make-up, two hundred dollars for an outfit. You ladies spend four hundred dollars to bring home a thug that ain't worth ten cents!

Aren't all movies set in NYC?

I've only seen 12 of them. Escape from New York beat Godfather? Seriously? It's a good movie but not that good.

Almost every Woody Allen's movie is based around New York and most of them are pretty damn good!
I am sorry, but "Escape From New York" is a terrible film.
Overall, that list if a fantastic guide for anyone who is a big fan of NY.![]()
