Thermostat cover

Does anyone else have a 24v that has thermostat cover 022121121e and not 021121121c, which is what the online companys sent me. "ECS" which I love but always seems to have parts missmarked and miss labled. Anyway the part 022121121e has much more of an angle as it comes out of the housing. I had to use existing one. Looked up the number and it is listed as for the R32, eos, and an audi maybe. what gives. tired of ordering parts and they never fit up right.

I too have found that ECS makes mistakes with part number applications that is why I look up the part numbers in ETKA before ordering. But I make mistakes too!

ETKA= VW and Audi electronic parts catalog. ET I guess is German for electric and KA is for catalog.
I have one. You should try to find one to avoid and /or reduce the parts ordering mistakes that others make.

I recall having the same issue with the same supplier way back when I wrote up my DIY for the crack pipe. Check that thread if you want to know how long ago that was.... Glad to see they've corrected the issue over the years
