I know its been posted here before, and I've done searched over and over but does anyone know how to track the progress of a car after it leaves the TTRS factory in Germany on its route to the US? such as the the ship it was loaded onto and such....I have a VIN# and commission number if that would help me.
Thanks!!

Lot of information here, you could find the boat who bring your TT.

Well I did a little research myself and called the PASHA automotive group (Very friendly, awesome organization) in National City, Ca and asked if there was anyway of tracking a car's progress en route to the US. They were so awesome over the phone, all I ha to provide was the last 6 of the VIN # and PRESTO!! they gave me the ship name and date of estimated arrival at the National City port!! the ship just left England enroute to CRISTOBAL where I assume it will cross the canal to the West!! I cant wait for my TT-RS to arrive!!!![]()

This is what most people have used in the past for tracking status.

Since you already know the boat name, all you need is to find it on marine tracker. The link above also has some useful links for webcams in the pacific canal and around the different ports where your ship will likely port on it's way to the US. Have fun!

So now the ship carrying my TTRS is now in the area of the Atlantic where you cannot track it, I guess its out of radar range (which sounds weird cause there are satellites that I would think could track the various ships and their location). How long does it take to pass on over to the Panama Canal, and thus to cross over to the Pacific?
