A little help is needed to clean things up a bit (please read), my intro of sorts.

Hi my name is Tony,

As my previous post in here suggests I have ordered a new car enough of that..

I, like many of you have been around for awhile and have had my fair share of different model Volkswagens. MK1-6, Audi A3,4's, a couple of Passats etc etc etc...

I like to turn my own wrenches in my spare time, but between my 4 kids and being a Firefighter stuck at work all the time I am kind of limited .


So my point:

I have asked the powers that be to add me to the moderator list for this section so I can help add things to the DIY section and help keep it growing in the future.

So my humble request to all of you that have been around for a while and know these links, or have first hand experience with info you want added, please share with me the links. And I will add them or have them added to the DIY page .

getting this added will help stop all of the exact same question threads that I have read over the past week. And it will allow new or old members find the info. I sit around sometimes for hours at work doing nothing, thus I have time to add this stuff

Please help me in this task, and if there is anything (within reason) that I can do for you please let me know.

and can add what ever you want or what ever is needed to the DIY/FAQ thread.. please help me help everyone...

on site link, off site link, blogs, info, whatever for our modal car. I am even going to make a build thread tab to be able to find all the build threads (how ever few).


please help speed this process.

I'm happy to see we now have someone who cares has volunteered to be a moderator. I have been a mod on another car enthusiast forum and it is a rewarding, if thankless, endeavor.

Thanks in advance. It is disappointing to see the sticky setup but not populated. Once I actually get to drive and tinker with my new Passat I will share anything important I come across.
