Actually starting to feel a bit sorry for this guy, Hopefully you figure it out
Have to be honest, this thread is full of laughs though!![]()

That looks like the wrong hub/spindle.
Compared to below, the housing is completely different where the strut is mounted, smoothed as opposed to the ridges. (between the strut and wheel bearing hub)

Maybe the previous owner attempted to swap out 2.0/tdi brakes for 1.8t/vr6 brakes and didn't do it correctly? Could always be the problem
#425
Would TT arms help in this situation? They have slots instead of holes for the balljoint, right? Allows for some camber adjustment?
#426
Your hub has studs on it? I drive a 2.slow and it doesnt have studs on it... are they oem hubs?

Have you tried putting in a whole different set of ball joints, or maybe your old ones and if that corrects the problem then.....

Well I got a donor car from DADO if anyone knows him he's a fuhkin beast, hooked me up with a shell has all item suspension and subframe has the spindles rotors and calipers and allll wiring (anyone interested. In wiring) well will the spindles from the 2.0 gti fit my 1.8t gti?
i want my Dub lower than my self esteem!

2.0 spindles will work technically but you would have to downgrade your brakes at the same time because 2.0 calipers and 1.8t calipers are not the same and have different mounting. I honestly might just swap one side to see if it fixes the problem but i wouldn't keep it like that.

Dam... Anyone have 1.8t spindles for sale????

Too much win..
Do you have a friend or something like that with mk4 who could bring his car to your place? You could check the fitment and measurements and whatnot with your own eyes. Atm you're just posting ****ty pics of your front suspension from different angles and everybody else is trying to guess what might be wrong. I'm just lmao after reading 13 pages of guesswork and people starting to go herpderp over some tt arms.
I can't believe I just registered on vwvortex just to say this. And howdy from Finland!

How many times did we say it in this thread. Quite a few. There are stud conversion kits you can buy
