Some amazing attention to detail there.

Love the smooth bonnet underside and deleting the wing bolts. That's just insane

Can't wait to see a full feature in pvw hopefully.

what has got into this forum now a day's seriously i dont understand? i have never met the guy that built this car nor have i seen it in person just on the forum from time to time through a teaser pictures. Fianlly the car gets shown to the public and people bitch about how its not thier cup of tea. So basicly this guy was suppose to build a car that you like? get real. this car is a show car and im sure thats strickly it. So get over yourselfs.

This car is so pretty. I'd be scared to drive it if it were mine. Honestly I think I'd consider parking it in my living room.

Just stunning. Mad amounts of thought, time, and work.

I remember the car from Dubwars 03 & 04, had no idea this was the one!

    Bobby always did it right!

I had the most fun in my VW days out in Lancaster before we headed into Dubwars. It was all about our dubs and just hangin'. (back when there was no bullsh*t in the scene and a bunch of cool guys who think they're doing it right)

This was the 1st time I saw the car and met Bobby. I was in love with it then. The way he did the boser and cut the tails and did the hatch was way before it's time. Blew me away and it was just a running shell with RSs. The teaser pic from years ago with the new paint and CMC wheels is legendary in itself. I got so excited to see pics of it at Played Out that I couldn't believe it was real. I know I sound like a nut swinger, but for all the guys who don't get it..... All I can say is for people like me this is more than a car. This was a work of Art. A true Picasso of our VW scene. If you don't like it then that's probably because you were dropped on your head as a kid or you haven't been playing with these cars long enough to appreciate the history behind this build.

Was the blue Mk3 the one on Schmidt 15s? Hard to see from the pic but it sure looks like it. Also a legend in its own way

A build is for most people to make a car low and put some wheels on it.. That's why they're not impressed by this car.. It would be right up there with European showcars, love it and can't wait to see more of it

The car is great but when I hear someone say " For all you guys that don't get it" well whats to get?

I get it. It took the guy forever to build a car that still doesn't look close to 100%. Judging by the outside of the car I'd say he was plannin on doing alot of bling and possible colormatched components under the hood. I appreciate all the little tricks he did under the hood especially the valve cover but the engine looks rushed to me. I understand that it gives a bunch of dead vortexers a chance to shine but in all honesty I'd say that R32 Turbo Mk3 GTI that was at H20 a few years ago craps all over this. Go figure the car was built on the East Coast and built in a few months.

    East Coast
