Caravan to the big stoneridge meet on 08/10/2012

On Friday August 10, 2012 is the Big Stoneridge Meet in Pleasanton Ca.

If you want to Caravan to this meet as a group we will be meeting up at Southland Mall in Hayward Ca at 5:00pm. We will meet in front of the Sears Auto Center right on the North corner of the mall closest to Winton Ave. We will leave this locatin at 5:45 at the latest 6:00 due to traffic and perking lot space. The meet starts at 7:00pm and now i know everyone Bum Rushes the Parking Lot at or before 7:00pm LOL so we want to be there early.

Fingers crossed i had to pull my steering wheel due to issues and now im waiting on the new one hopefully it will be here in time but if not i will be out for this event.

but that does not stop everyone from meeting up and caravaning to the event hopefully the caravan goes over good...

OP, if this is going down like previous years and you want to park in all the action, you may want to reconsider your start time coming from Southland Mall. Although they announced it starts at 7, peeps DO bum rush earlier. I was there last year, got there at exactly 7 with 4 other cars and 95% of the parking area was full. My other buds were coming from east bay similar to your starting point and they got there past 830. With all the weekend traffic comin over 580, plan at least an hour to get to Stoneridge from the Mall.

I was there last year and the one before that, same situation, expect it to be stacked at 7. By 830-9, peeps were parking across the street at Kaiser or at the Stoneridge mall parking (beware of mall cops hassling).

We just showed up.. There are a lot of security guards posted and they blocked off the parking lot..
