You knew it had to happen.
He got hit by a flyng tent/canopy thing....I saw the big clouds building and knew the gusts would follow, but never thought a thing about it till the canopy came flying over from the next campsite. This was at the drags of course. The owner was so concerned with his canopy that he barely asked me about the car. Lucky for him. No harm was done to the car, but the canopy was mangled beyond further usefulness. Moral of the story? Anchor your ****.

Had ya going with the subject line, didn't I?

I'd have made a scene....LOL, glad your car is OK.

Mine sits in teh garge for all but about 5 days of the year, I should either drive it or sell it.

Does your car have ac? I think that's what dictates that difference.

You were lucky, those things can do some damage. I've seen one fly into an RV and it put a massive dent and lots of scratches where it hit.

And I didn't see this one happen, but at a local Subaru meet one hit a car that belonged to a friend of my girlfriend. Supposedly it basically tumbled ove the length of the car, scratched the hell out of it and put dents in the trunk panel, hood, and roof. Unfortunately for him, he could not find the owner of the canopy.

    Anchor your anchors!

Except when you have a non-A/C dash swapped into your A/C car.

Glad to hear Klaus made it out ok, Cathy. You had me freaked!
