valve cover gasket..

Hey guys, I've got this leak going on on my 97 AAZ.l
I think it is losing a significant amount of oil here as I changed my oil and my oil light came on only a few days later and I had to top it up.
Would this likely just be the gasket around my exhaust manifold...? Or might I have a cracked block?
Thanks guys.

Yeah? I wasn't sure exactly where it was from. I'd prefer that.

Where can I source one of these gaskets? Partsplace sent me the wrong one last time...

No, I got a gasket for an AHU TDI as I ordered a timing belt change set and told them I had am AAZ. They don't ship to Canada though if I recall and I don't have the time to go back to the States.

order it thru someone else then..
i believe the ALH had the gasket bonded to the valve cover..

Pretty stupid right?
No one lists the AAZ as ever existing because they all use the US parts listings and catalogues.
Even my one good source for vw parts doesn't recognize the AAZ, only the AHU.

1Z and AHU valve cover is not straight at the front.
This is a the AHU gasket;
AAZ gasket;
Normal 1.6 IDI gasket;

Yeah, maybe I'll have to give partsplace another go...I can't find it anywhere else.
EDIT: or I may unfortunately have to buy from Prothe. I don't want to support the guy, but he has a product that no one else is carrying--and for 10 bucks, I'll take the risk that it's garbage.

I found the gasket, NAPA had it.
Replaced it, and I'm still getting a leak.
Any suggestions on what to do going forward?
