original owner? Documented maintenance history? overall condition? Low miles means nada if it's a basket case from sitting in one place in an old barn.......

My brother has an '82 with ~23,000miles on it. Been garaged its whole life and not driven in Winter. Bone stock....I know almost nothing about VWs (although I had a 2001 TDI golf for awhile which I loved) I'm a land cruiser enthusiast and would think a VW enthusiast would be all over this old cab....
1) how to determine the value?
2) Where to sell?

Area of the country... would help. I spose I could offer 200 for it. 100 if I have to have it towed.
You got to remember this is a fan sight, and we know these cars and how much they are worth to us and how much we may have to do, and how much willing pay are 2 different ball parks.Grounds, Grounds, Grounds Replace them things.
Divorces, Great Coffee, and Electrics, all start with GOOD Grounds.
