    There isn't one unless its after 1990 and not always then it's under the shift boot and its not your standard obd plug and doesn't tell u as much either. U have to diagnose the problem the old school way

    bahaha you folks are funny lol.. i know i figured it out lol i was loooking everywhere and found out my year doesnt come with it eh .. i need your help though haha my car started to sound like subaru then now it doesnt even want to start up

    whats the year and motor?

    sounds like a misfire. check your plugs, wires, distributor.

    well its 1990 gti 8v
    wires and plugs are new and the distribitor cap is new and rotor ..
    but the dis its self isnt new.
