Need gear box help.

So past couple weeks, When I put my car into 5th gear, It makes a slight squeaky sound.. and its really only noticable with windows up, no music on or anything but its there and only happens putting it INTO 5th, nothing else.

What could be the problem?
Is it a major problem atm to worry about?
If not, how fine am I okay for?
if yes, how much would it cost to get this fixed/what needs to be done etc?

Wasn't sure how to word this but yeah, thats what has been happening to me and it bothers me lol.

I can't but it makes a squeaky noise pushing it into 5th and thats it, and its quite annoying. I heard it may just be bushing loose or some adjustments mad or lubing, nothing major but i dont want it to get worse or such if its a big problem

Drain your Trans fluid.inspect for glitter lol. Replace fluid with fresh fluid and hope the sound goes away.if the Trans is a little low then 5th gear is only barely getting splashed with fluid.may have heated up a bearing and seized it. That could easily be the screech you are hearing
