1997 Passat GLX Sedan for trade or sale depending on offer ($1700 OBO). The Good:
Never in an accident, one key fits all
decent paint (at least out of all the vws i've owned) 7.5/10..factory roof fade lol
149k on body, 100k on motor, 130k on trans
strong vr, runs perfect no chain noise
aluminum crack pipe
new t-stat kit with all housings and gaskets newer clutch
Leather not bad (in the process of cleaning extensively, rear seats removed for cleaning) 7/10 when done, driver's seat is cracked
got all the good jazz, heated seats, p/w (all but one work and just a switch i'm getting soon) p/dl
few new sensors, IAT,blue cooant temp both o2 sensors Bosch PITA to remove an o2 sensor after probly what was 150k miles on the car. I could see it being original...
we've just in general 'd this car since we've got it. It's the cleanest car my family has ever owned (I guess it isn't saying much lol but still) and we don't necessarily want to see it go, I'd just like something new, or more fun, or different, or something.
The Bad:
CEL for theeverpopular SAI incorrect flow, I'll remedy that soon
few dings and a couple dents (the biggest dents are on the top of the fenders, as if they used one of those specialty tools for a clutch job...the ones that prop up the motor from your fenders and F'd it up) the rest are just little dings, like on the doors and stuff lol would probably come out with one of those as seen on tv ding removal kits
Has slight wobble at higher speeds due to tie rods and ends but I just purchased a crap load offront suspension parts, like everything to refresh the whole thing
no heat, no a/c the a/c did something weird the other day, just started spraying out fre-on from the compressor, i figure it's the seal in the high pressure line, it looked to be at the rear of the compressor but it worked perfectly up until then, I just haven't tried it since. I'd rather do it professionally though

Also, needs a front passenger strut but i'm gonna grab some coils for it somewhere.
