I have an aba swapped swapped scirocco. The motor is and obd2 aba. The problem I'm having now is a lull in Rpms after I give it gas. It only does it after being under load except when cold. When it's cold it will do it regardless. I've tried new ecu, resetting ecu, new maf, new TB, fuel pressure reg, the car is also running a new fuel pump, and checked for vac leaks. I've run out of ideas. Can anyone help?

Try to adapt the throttle body with VAG-COM

I did read that somewhere however I don't have easy access to a vagcom I also had the entire motor in another running scirocco previously without the issue. I can try to get ahold of a vagcom but if anyone else can think of any other possibilities I'm open to other solutions as well.

Most of the time when you unplug the battery the TB goes nuts. Try adapting it. It might really help. If you have a laptop, get the VAG-COM cable and software, or try craigslist to find someone locally who can do it for you. Instructions are easy to find.
I read something about adapting it without VAG-COM, but I don't know if it works. His instructions are:
    Disconnect battery for 3 minutes
    Reconnect battery
Turn key to the ON position for 3 minutes
Start car and let idle for 3 minutes
Pull out of your spot and rev it to over 5k RPM in 2nd gear,
    Shut off car
Start it up and you're all done

...Take it with a grain of salt, as I'm not sure it will work. But it may help.
