Thread: Feeler project 16vt jetta Upstate NY (Albany area) $3500

  1. 08-06-2012 03:42 PM #1
    *** Update 9/21: price drop $2200.... "

*** Update 8/28: price drop $2800 obo... Some one button this beast up! ***
*** Update: will consider parting given enough interest ***

1991 jetta zero miles on build... 1.8 16v head on aba bottom end, abf alternator bracket to eliminate AC, Bildon Motorsports drivetrain... basically their "race" package... cams, titanium valve springs etc etc you can check it out online.... has an ebay t3/t4 on it, shopping around for hx35 holset... have everything for the car... just installed Bahn Brenner DP, "The Bomb" SRI, 034 EFI Stage IIC, complete 16vt wiring harness for that... injectors, coils packs, volvo oil cooler, swapped to O2A trans, swapped everything over already, etc etc... drain line and feed line need to be installed, have both, IC and piping need to be run, front driver's brake line needs replacing, everything else that has to do with the brakes has been replaced (calipers, lines, prop valve, disks, pads, new wheel bearings front and back, ball joints, tie rods blah blah blah)... you name it its probably been done. basically it's at the 99% point and just needs the little stuff wrapped up. My issue is that the car is in NY, I live in CT, and my new life schedule allots me zero time to tinker with it and I don't want it sitting any longer to the point it's useless... the body is in good shape, front fender markers shaved, all surface rust/dings/dents were removed and a fresh coat of alpine white was put on there... rear VW was poorly shaved and it's starting to pop out a little.... have a full brown/tweed interior, small bumpers, gli spoiler, no flares, early gli door trim, no plate tub... basically building a sleeper... anyways let me know if you have any questions... have a bunch of pics on my phone and I probably forgot a lot of stuff.... please don't let this car become a lawn ornament... 518-929-3339

Maybe that is due to excessive drug use, which can lead to prostitution and homelessness.

Don't drive a Corolla or you might end up a homeless prostitute.

If YOU get it in running condition, you can probably get at least $5k out of it.

    Just sayin'

And best wishes with your sale.

I realize this, if I had it running I wouldn't be letting it go... But I'm 150 miles from the car, am not able to regularly make that trip, and may be tranferring to Munich for work... So my priorities have shifted a bit... Open to reasonable offers, not looking to clear project costs as its not my first rodeo and I know that's impossible, just want the car and/or parts to go to good use... So far clutch has been spoken for, and there's been interest in the motor
