    5W-40, 0W-40 are recommended by VW. I just used 10W-40 Mobil 1.

    All must be fully synthetic

I had previously never heard of 0-w40, but I'm going to attempt to find some.

the info is correct. I find the Castrol and Mobil 1 most consistently at Autozone. The Castrol is called Edge now, I think.

Mobil 1 0W-40 can be had at your local walmart. It's quite a bit cheaper at walmart than the auto parts store. Unfortunately, it does NOT come in the 5 Qt. jugs like other weights do.

I have also found that if you can get Walmart to give you a sealed case of 6 quarts, the cashier will scan the box and you can save another few bucks on 6 quarts.

My guy uses Motul 5w-30 in my CC. All they service is BMW, Audi, and VW.
